Comal County Jr. Livestock Show
The 49th Annual Comal County Jr. Livestock Show is right around the corner. For 2017 it’s at the Comal County Fairgrounds, March 1-3, 2017, with the big Auction hammer coming down on March 4th.
The mission of the Comal County Jr. Livestock Show Association is to promote the agricultural life by providing the youth of Comal County with a venue to show and sell their livestock projects. Through this experience the young people develop life skills: responsibility, competition, financial management and lifelong commitment to family and friends.
If you are not familiar with the auction process, or just don’t have the time, then please consider partnering with one of the show’s largest buying groups. WE’RE ALL IN is a group organized by individuals who are actively involved in promoting the educational experiences gained by the youth in Comal County through participation in the annual Comal County Junior Livestock Show. WE’RE ALL IN helps to ensure that every entrant in the show is a winner.
In addition to their support of the livestock show, WE’RE ALL IN has all of their purchases processed, and then the meat is donated to local charities through the Kids Feeding Kids program. All the meat is distributed to Comal County Crisis Center, New Life Children’s Center of Canyon Lake, Connections, Kids Club and St Jude’s Children’s Shelter of Comal County. Donations will be made publicly with all the WE’RE ALL IN contributors listed being part of KIDS FEEDING KIDS.
By joining WE’RE ALL IN with your tax-deductible donation, you will receive:
- Two tickets to the Annual CCJLSA Banquet
- Wristband for use at the Show, which will allow the wearer to eat and drink free
- Your name to be displayed and mentioned in the auction area as a donor
- Invitation to the WE’RE ALL IN Buyers Appreciation Social in January
